HISTORY OF NAME

The name of our school was adopted by our school district to honor all of our heroes.  The school name is to honor our local heroes in our community which includes our police officers, firemen, coast guard, paramedics, and all of our servicemen from our county.  Our school also honors heroes not only from the state of California but from our nation us well.

Heroes Elementary School was built in 2007 and opened in August of 2008

Heroes Elementary awarded by the California PBIS Coalition for a successful PBIS implementation at the PLATINUM level 2018-2019

  In 2024, Heroes Elementary became a Community School
